After graduating Ben Simkins moved to the US where he works as a music journalist. He has worked on online fanzines such as soundblur.com and is now working as a feature writer/reporter for US magazine,'The Front'. He has interviewed and written about acts including: Finch, Taking Back Sunday, Derek Hess, Ministry, Franti Spearhead and Spongebob Squarepants.

Ben is also the guitarist/vocalist for Liberty Valance who are preparing to go back into the studio to follow up their debut EP entitled EP'isode I. The new EP will be a concept piece and is scheduled to be recorded at The Blasting Room, a studio run by punk legends The Descendants.
