Summer Band Factory offers a fun opportunity for musicians aged 12-18 to write, play, perform and talk music with industry professionals and other keen musicians.
This five-day residential event promises to be packed full of music-making. Material created during the week will be performed and recorded at a proper gig on the final evening.
Activities include:
- playing in a pop/rock band setup;
- songwriting workshops;
- stage craft workshops;
- live sound engineering workshops;
- jam nights;
- rehearsals;
- live performance opportunities.
The Summer Band Factory runs from Monday 18- Friday 22 August 2008.
