By doing the Performing Musician course you will:

• Maximise your potential as a performer.
• Record songs and perform them live in professional venues.
• Improve your instrument and musicianship skills.
• Develop band skills through regular rehearsal.
• Compose and arrange songs and tunes.
• Understand how to make your music unique and relevant.
• Learn how to promote you and your music and get it to the people that matter.
• Get access to regional and national music opportunities (participating centres only).
• Create CDs, MP3s and podcasts and promote your music online.
• Gain a recognised and industry-relevant qualification. Courses lead to Rockschool/ATM Diplomas at Levels 1 and 2 (GCSE equivalent) and Level 3 (A Level equivalent). One-year Diplomas generate 48 ten-hour credits. The two-year Level 3 Combined Diploma generates 96 ten-hour credits. Qualifications are unit-based and assessment is focused on practical music-making activities.
• Gain access to Higher Education popular music courses (Level 3 only).

• It's a brilliant way to meet other musicians, make contacts and improve your all round musicianship.
