ATM Studios Birmingham is located in a listed Victorian building in the heart of Birmingham’s music retail and recording belt. The centre is situated within walking distance of Kerrang! radio, the Sound Control music store and the Actress and Bishop live music venue.

The centre was started in 1998 and has since expanded to cater for almost 200 music students, making it the main music training venue within the Birmingham region.

The centre has developed strong links with the local music industry including Kerrang! radio, the Actress and Bishop venue and many local promoters.

ATM Studios Birmingham boasts a 24-track digital recording studio, three rehearsal rooms, a technology centre, its own dance studio as well as many multi-purpose teaching areas.

 

 

Student in US for T4 Music Competition
20-year-old Kamel Foster hit our screens in late 2007 when she appeared in T4 series, Chancers. Kamel was one of only 8 hopefuls from the UK to fly out to the US to work with David Knowles, the mastermind behind Destiny's Child. Chancers followed the 8 urban musicians as they tried to crack America. Kamel now hopes to follow in the footsteps of her idols Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige and Kelly Clarkson.
