MORE ADVICE & INFORMATION
All our full-time courses start in September of each academic year. The earlier you apply the better will be your chances of getting on to a course.
Before you fill in an online Application Form please check that:
- You know what course you want to study and at what level.
- You know where you want to study it.
- You are aware of the fees.
- You know what previous qualifications you have.
- You have a statement prepared highlighting your relevant musical skills. Try doing this in Word first and then simply copy and paste it into the form.
- Where required you have a further statement telling us about anything else which may support your application. Again try producing this in Word first.
If you are applying for Level 3 and 4 courses we will require details of your qualifications and grades and a detailed account of your musical experience. Please use sections 8.3 and 8.4 on the online application form for this information, or provide a CV or covering letter if your application is in writing.
You will be sent an email
(if you have an address) to confirm receipt. We will then contact you by
email or phone as soon as an interview slot becomes available at your
chosen centre.
If you prefer to write out your application by hand, please download and print out an Application Form. See below.
You may also apply for an
Information Pack by ringing FREEPHONE 0800 28 18 42 or emailing info@accesstomusic.co.uk. You
can also use these contacts to ask for advice and more information.
At interview you will be expected to demonstrate your musical skills
(usually some form of audition) and talk about your music-making and
ambitions.
